MR. LAMONTE KUSKYE (DIRECTOR)

is completing his eighth year as a member of the CHS Performing Arts Department and his 18th year as music director at Pendleton Heights First United Methodist Church. Prior to coming to CHS, he served as choral director and department chairperson at Pendleton Heights High School. He is a graduate of Ball State University where he sang with the University Singers for four years and served as student director. Mr. Kuskye has been a frequent performer at Indianapolis Civic Theater where he won critical acclaim for his leading roles in "The Will Rogers Follies", "Crazy for You, "Oklahoma", and most recently, 'Annie Get Your Gun." In his free time, Mr. Kuskye is an avid traveler. He spends winter weekends as a show choir adjudicator and clinician and directs the spring musical. 1-317-846-7721 (x7453)

MRS.ANN CONRAD (DIRECTOR)

has taught choral music at Carmel High School for thirty-one years. She has received both a Bachelors and Master of Arts degree from Ball State University where she majored in voice and piano. She has served on the staff of Indiana State University's Summer Show Choir Camp for fifteen seasons, and has been an adjudicator for show choir competitions throughout the state. Mrs. Conrad has sung professionally in productions at Beef and Boards Dinner Theater and the Indianapolis Opera Company. She has also been a soloist at St. Luke's United Methodist Church and with the Carmel High School Jazz Ensemble. Mrs. Conrad portrays "Mrs. Claus" at over 50 events each holiday season. She and her musician husband Charles are the proud parents of Molly, a loving but stupid golden retriever / basset hound mix.

MR. MICHAEL S. POTE (AMBASSADOR BRASS CONDUCTOR AND ARRANGER)

has been Associate Director of Bands at Carmel High School in Carmel, Indiana since 1993. He is co-conductor of the Carmel High School Wind Symphony I. In addition to conducting the Wind Symphony, his responsibilities include teaching Music Theory and Composition, conducting Freshmen Concert Band I and Jazz Ensemble I. Michael is active as a freelance composer and arranger for band programs across the country as well as being a frequent guest conductor and adjudicator. His marching band compositions are published through Marching Show Concepts, Inc. In 1995 - 1997, he served as drill designer for the Carmel High School Marching Greyhounds. Michael has also collaborated with the Carmel High School band staff on two articles for the Instrumentalist magazine. Michael is a 1990 graduate of Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky where he studied conducting with Dennis L. Johnson.

MR. RON MORGAN (CHOREOGRAPHER)

was in the original Broadway Cast of "Starlight Express" and "MeetMe in St. Louis". He has performed or choreographed in over 15 countries around the world. Ron began his performing career in the'All American College Singers" in Disneyland. NewYork production work includes industrial trade shows, cruise ships and other events. Ron has choreographed and performed for the Indianapolis Civic Theatre, Foodite Musicals, Theatre on the Square and more. He choreographed the Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders for seven seasons, NBA half time shows, The Indiana Pacemates and parade units for Disney. Ron has received numerous awards for his work with show choirs and has been a clinician for Show Choir Camps of America. Mr. Morgan is the director of Performer's Edge Dance Theatre and continues to direct and choreograph for Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre.
